Dogs Are Helping Kids Learn to Read

Students at an elementary school in Maryland can't wait to open their books. That's because they have a brand new teacher -- one that doesn't have a PhD., or a degree in education. It is a Mastiff dog!

Human Teachers are handpicking students that are having trouble with reading and comprehension, and allowing them to read for the dog. Because the dog is not judgemental, and doesn't correct them the children's confidence has soared, and so has their reading and comprehension levels.
