Hybrid/Designer Dogs

Hybrid dogs, or Designer Dogs, as they are referred to by some, are the off-spring of two genetically dissimilar dogs that were bred together, either by nature, or by a breeder.

Many of these genetically mixed dogs have become quite popular. Below, find links to alphabetical lists of all current Hybrid Dogs, and the types of pure breed dogs that were combined to create the hybrid.

To have a better understanding of the disposition, or temperament of the hybrid you should view the individual breed profiles for the pure breed dogs used.

It is important to note that many Hybrid Dogs are available at local Shelters and Rescues, and it is no longer necessary to purchase them from a breeder.
